The Colour of the Colour - Private View

We had a great night launching this new exhibition - in fact it was a bit of a family affair with our five artists - Karen Ciambriello, Louise Courtnell, Diane Nevitt, Lisa Stokes and Yana Trevail - all coming along with friends and family. This was the first time the artists had shown together and the evening was a great success.

Plymouth College of Art Post Graduate Exhibition

Duncan Currell with award-winning student, Luke Axworth Great Private View to launch a week-long exhibition This is the second year that the Brownston Gallery has hosted a Post Degree Exhibition showcasing the work of selected graduating students from Plymouth College of Art. This year the standard is as impressive as ever, proving once again that our local college is brimming with talent and enthusiasm from both students and staff!  (L to R) Laura Wasley, James Pritchard-Barrett and Catherine Gillen   Featuring the work of 15 students from the departments of Contemporary Crafts, Textiles and Painting, the exhibition was full of colour and variety. Many of the students attended the opening night, along with their tutors and around 60 invited guests.
