A look back at Summer!

We had the most wonderful Summer in the South Hams. The great weather brought us lots of visitors and holiday makers as everyone headed to the beach. And when the odd cloud did appear we were only too happy to provide some indoor sunshine. Here are some favourite memories:

Plymouth College of Art Post Graduate Exhibition

Duncan Currell with award-winning student, Luke Axworth Great Private View to launch a week-long exhibition This is the second year that the Brownston Gallery has hosted a Post Degree Exhibition showcasing the work of selected graduating students from Plymouth College of Art. This year the standard is as impressive as ever, proving once again that our local college is brimming with talent and enthusiasm from both students and staff!  (L to R) Laura Wasley, James Pritchard-Barrett and Catherine Gillen   Featuring the work of 15 students from the departments of Contemporary Crafts, Textiles and Painting, the exhibition was full of colour and variety. Many of the students attended the opening night, along with their tutors and around 60 invited guests.
