Charles Jamieson Exhibition 2015


We have a full exhibition schedule planned for the rest of the year, kicking off with our Charles Jamieson exhibition. Charlie is one of our favourite gallery artists and we are delighted to welcome him back to Devon. The gallery looks amazing with his new collection - full of colour and vibrancy - guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's face - but clever and thoughtful at the same time. Genius.

We were delighted to see Gallery Artist Jennifer Wright's  beautiful painting of Salcombe featured on the cover of Country Life. Plymouth College of Art Post Graduate Exhibition

Duncan Currell with award-winning student, Luke Axworth Great Private View to launch a week-long exhibition This is the second year that the Brownston Gallery has hosted a Post Degree Exhibition showcasing the work of selected graduating students from Plymouth College of Art. This year the standard is as impressive as ever, proving once again that our local college is brimming with talent and enthusiasm from both students and staff!  (L to R) Laura Wasley, James Pritchard-Barrett and Catherine Gillen   Featuring the work of 15 students from the departments of Contemporary Crafts, Textiles and Painting, the exhibition was full of colour and variety. Many of the students attended the opening night, along with their tutors and around 60 invited guests.
